A spring thaw in March 1978 reveals former Reading and Lehigh Valley units waiting their turn in the Collinwood (Cleveland) shops.
Both units would get Conrail blue, but that Alco C628 wouldn't make it past the end of 1979. The former RDG GE U30C would last into the early 80s.
