Conrail 890000 was a one-of-a-kind experimental car built by the NYC at the Despatch Shops in 1966. It was equipped with B.F. Goodrich's "Granu-Max" inflatable slope sheets and was known as the Flexi-Flator. Clearly the concept did not catch on, but the car did stick around long enough to make it into CR paint.
