NS 69E with two GP40-2s at RIDGE heads west with empty hoppers that were used to bring limestone to Montour Power Plant's limestone handling facility for the plant's SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system. Only a very few trainloads of limestone were ever delivered to the facility, and these trains had the earliest non-rotary coupler equipped PPLX hoppers. Limestone was delivered by truck throughout the years.
