One trip I used to do often was the PATH to Newark, which allowed a good view of parts of Meadows Yard, as well as some of the action in Harrison, which still had some rail business then. In 1984, it was till possible to see some older power in original paint schemes, such as this set here, a GP 9 still painted LV, a Raritan River SW, and an ex Reading SW 1500. Cool stuff.
