At dusk in November, 1978, CR-operated NJDOT GG-1 4879 waits for her next run out of South Amboy.
On October 31, 1983 this unit would hold the distinction of being the last operating GG-1 when she was called upon to rescue 4877 in it's last run on the NY&LB.
