In the early years of MBTA operation, Conrail power could still be found on commuter trains in and out of Boston. We're near the B&A crossing of the Charles River at Riverside as E8 4063 leads a commuter train. This engine is wearing Penn Central colors, and bears the same number it was given when purchased by the New York Central in 1953.
