Two CR predecessors meet nose to nose at South Amboy, NJ in June, 1980. Former PRR E-8A 5836 meets EL E-8A 833, but now it's NJDOT 4246 faces CR 4022. The ex-PRR unit would last another two years before retirement while the EL E-8A still had a storied CR career through the 90's.
