CR 2581 at South Street TBS in Akron OH, April 1976

Although it's just after the Conrail merger in April 1976, and things look the same as before, that wouldn't last long.

Here we see a set of Erie Lackawanna GP35s waiting with a Conrail westbound and a B&O train. Both are waiting for the ok to proceed from the South Street TBS (Temporary Block Station) located a few hundred feet behind me. Akron, Ohio, April 1976.
