The Harrisburg Chapter NRHS sponsored the Flaming Foliage Express to Renovo, PA's Flaming Foliage Festival. The route was north on NS's Buffalo Line with the train running further to the wye at Keating for turning.
Seen here, the return southbound NS 041 Flaming Foliage Express has just traveled about 6 miles into its return to Harrisburg.
Consist was ex-CR Juniata Terminal E8s PRR 5809 & 5711, 10 Amtrak coaches , and 4 PV.
