AM 54 (ex-CR 2074) at Springdale, AR

One of the special things about the Arkansas & Missouriis not only the many ALCo's they roster, but also the only shortline to have bought anything new from EMD... In this case, 3 SD70ACe's (gaining a 4th in early April 2022). On this snowy December 15th, we're awaiting our clearance to board the passengers. Before that, though, a very late Monett Turn(The northbound overnight cross-system freight train) has to pass by. Now, it's rare for an ALCo to be coupled to an ACe, but take a look at the numberboard of the unit in 3rd... A&M 54, former Conrail 2074 and LHR 24. That was a treat in itself, as I have quite the history with 54. as an added bonus, snow, and a caboose!
