UP "snoot" 3398 has the trail position in NESE. The 3398 would become familiar to southern New England railfans in later years. The UP retired the unit in 2001 and it was picked up by CitiGroup (CEFX). It was leased by RailAmerica and served on the Connecticut Southern from 2006-2009, then transferred to RA's other railroad, the New England Central (ex CV) where it has been running since.
