Conrail Ex Reading SW1500 #9589 pushing Amtrak GG-1 #918 wreck to County yards, west of New Brunswick, NJ station. March 1979. An Amtrak westbound passenger with a GG-1 #918 plowed into an Amtrak maintenance equipment near Lincoln Interlocking in Metuchen, NJ. The wreckage was pushed to County Tower in New Brunswick, NJ where the crews separated the 2 pieces of equipment.
