Conrail local freight led by GP38-2 8146 is shown exiting Amtrak trackage at Porter, IN, in August 1990. This is the old NYC ex Michigan Central mainline to Detroit, MI and that signal still exists today I believe. The 8146 would spend its final years on Conrail being based out of Fort Wayne, IN pulling more local trains. Doug Davidson photo with permission
