High humidity and hazy skies was the weather on June 20, 1984.
Eastbound LNCO-0 (L&N-Cincinnati to Columbus-Buckeye Yard) was photographed from Nash Road overpass in Wilberforce, Ohio on the former PRR Columbus-Indianapolis main. A stubby L&N caboose was onthe rear rocking on the rough jointed rail. Conrail had no plans to upgrade this line and in a few years it will be abandoned and become a rails-to-trails.
