An eastbound coal train is being led by Conrail SD40 6348 (ex-PC 6095) while SD40-2 6373 trails on a westbound freight in 1982. CR 6373 would go on to wear two special paint schemes while in the Altoona helper pool, a scheme in 1992 for the Olympic cycling time trails, and another one in 1998 to commemorate the Juniata Locomotive Shops working 2 million man-hours injury-free.
