CR 5654 at UP Global One yard Chicago, IL

A very unusual angle looking west from the CTA's Douglas Park L, a Conrail double-stack train led by the last SD60I, 5654, and B40-8 5071, is seen near the east gate of Global One yard in Chicago, IL delivering to the UP, in November 1998. This part of Global One yard was once B&O's Robey Street Yard. The train will pull ahead to yard in the Extension Yard between Racine Avenue and Morgan Street. Doug Davidson photo with permission
