CR 5015 pauses at Purdys station, NY. on June 5, 1980 with a southbound commuter train. The 5015 was the first FL-9 to get the ConRail paint scheme, which was fashioned after the PC scheme. CR used a darker yellow on the nose and the rest of the carbody was CR blue. PC used a dark, almost teal blue. The 5015 is another "survivor", renumbered 2027 by M-N , then transferred to CDOT where it got the "full treatment", complete rebuild and repaint into it's native New Haven McGinnis paint scheme. The 2027, along with 5 other CDOT rebuilds, was still "on the roster" as of Jan., 2009.
