This UMB coal train heads north past Jersey Shore, PA over US Rt. 220 to New York state. Within 3 months the last through trains would travel between Williamsport, PA and Corning, NY on this scenic line through the Pine Creek Valley of PA. This right-of-way between Jersey Shore and Wellsboro Junction, PA would become the Pine Creek Rail Trail.
Motive power: ex-LV 508 CR 2784 U23B, CR 6496 CSX 8854 SD40-2, PC/CR 2718 U23B
This overpass is now fully fenced in protecting the highway from the rail trail.
