AMT #40 at Huntingdon, PA 8/3/1991

AMT #40, the eastbound "Broadway Limited", with AMT 264 F40PH leading passes PRR built Hunt Tower as it approaches its Huntingdon Station stop. Hunt Tower was decommissioned by Conrail in 1985, but saved from demolition by the unrelenting efforts of some individuals. Ownership was later transferred to a local organization dedicated to community improvement. In this 1991 view Hunt Tower had undergone renovations.
